The merger of the two councils on Tampa Bay brought five properties into the new council. From Gulf Ridge, Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation is still used for long-term camping (summer and winter), weekend activities and training events. Owen Brorein had some buildings that had fallen into disrepair, but has since been refurbished, and is used for weekend troop camping and training. Camp Alafia remains a site for primitive camping experiences. From West Central Florida Council, Sand Hill Scout Reservation is utilized for week-long training and Winter Camp. Camp Soule is used for short-term camping, day camp, family camping, and training.
